In order to import your data from Quickbooks Desktop please export the following 4 reports:

Click “Reports”
Click “Customers & Receivables”
Click “Customer Phone List”
Click “Customize Report”
Under “Columns” select the following:

Click “Excel”
Click “Create New Worksheet”
Click “Export”
Save this report as “customers”
Item Price List
Click “Reports”
Click “List”
Click “Item Price List”
Click “Customize Report”
Under “Columns” make sure the following are checked
Active Status
Item
Description
Price
Click “OK”
Click “Excel”
Click “Create New Worksheet”
Click “Export”
Save this file as “item_price_list”
Export Transactions
- In the toolbar click "Help"
- Mouse over "Tech Support" (If you do not see "Tech Support" option follow "Enable Tech Support Option" below)
- Mouse over "Export"
- Click on "Export Transactions"
- Save the file as "transactions.IIF"
Enable Tech Support Option
In the toolbar click "Help"
- Click on "About Intuit Quickbooks..."
- A Quickbooks logo should be displayed
- Press the following key combination: Ctrl Alt d b
- Click the Quickbooks logo which will close it
