Saving Service Area Off Line on a Samsung tablet will allow the driver to use the map on the FuelMor Driver App even when the tablet is offline.
Note: An offiline saved map will expire a year after it has been downloaded/saved and will require updating each year to keep current.


Steps to Download an Offline Map Area

  1.  Launch the Google Maps app on your Samsung tablet.
  2. Tap your profile picture or initial in the top right corner, then select Offline maps from the menu.
  3. Tap Select your own map (or "Select area to download").
  4. Use two fingers to zoom in/out and pan the map to center the blue box over the region you want to save.
  5. Check the storage size at the bottom and tap the Download button.
  6. After downloading, you can tap the pencil icon to rename the map for easy organization. 
  7. In Google Maps, click on user icon, Maps, Offline maps, gear icon.
  8. Enable: Auto-update offline maps.
  9. Enable: Auto-download recommended maps.
  10. Click on Download preferences. select Over Wi-Fi or mobile netowrk, Save.
