Close the Books allows you to select a date that prevents changes from being made to transactions dated on or before the selected date. This helps protect completed accounting periods from unintended changes.
Transactions on or before the closing date cannot be posted, edited, deleted, or voided. Unchecking reopens the books and keeps the date for the next time.
In FuelMor Office, go to hamburger, Settings, Accounting
Note: This feature requires the appropriate user permission to be enabled before an Office user can make changes to Close the Books.
